EIIC will be hosting a Spanish language support group for immigrant women. If you are interested in taking part in a similar group for English speaking participants, please email socialworkinternqns@eiic.org




































El domingo 18 de diciembreDía Internacional de los Migrantesla Coalición de Inmigración de Nueva York reunirá a sus miembros y colaboradores en una marcha para enviar un mensaje claro de los neoyorquinos al Presidente electo Trump y a su administración: las comunidades inmigrantes están aquí para quedarse y nosotros lucharemos contra el odio y las políticas anti-inmigrantes!

  • Defender el Programa de Acción Diferida para Llegadas en la Infancia (DACA), el cual provee a 50,000 neoyorquinos (y más de 700,000 nacionalmente) con permisos de trabajo y otros recursos esenciales
  • Proteger a las comunidades inmigrantes de la deportación
  • Impedir la creación de un registro musulmán
  • Apoyar el reasentamiento de refugiados

The New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC)  is an umbrella policy and advocacy organization for over 150 groups in New York State that work with immigrants and refugees. The NYIC aims to achieve a fairer and more just society that values the contributions of immigrants and extends opportunity to all by promoting immigrants’ full civic participation, fostering their leadership, and providing a unified voice and a vehicle for collective action for New York’s diverse immigrant communities.







With six weeks before the inauguration of President-elect Trump, we are mobilizing our communities for the fight ahead. Now more than ever, we are determined to defend and protect our immigrant communities.  
On Sunday, December 18thInternational Migrants Day, the New York Immigration Coalition will bring together our members and partners to rally and send a clear message from New Yorkers to President-Elect Trump and his administration: immigrant communities are here to stay and we will fight back against hate and anti-immigrant policies!

Our Call to Action:
  • Defend the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which provides 50,000 New Yorkers (and 700,000 + nationally) with work permits and other essential resources
  • Protect immigrant communities from deportation
  • Prevent the creation of a Muslim registry
  • Support refugee resettlement
